So the action and suspense enjoyed during last Sunday’s TWD felt like it was taking longer than Rick’s grief process, but more on that later. In short, it’s what we The Walking Fans have been waiting for all season. Now don’t get me wrong, the season has been pretty decent overall, and the pacing has mostly made up for the stall of the second season, while everyone searched for Sophia. In fact I’ve very little to say that’s negative at all about this most recent episode. What complaints do I have? Well nothing to do with either of the Dixon brothers, Merle was Merle, and Daryl, was Daryl. The scene on the bridge was exciting and reminded us all of why we love Daryl so much (take that Daryl nay-sayers). Between that awesomeness and when the governor showed up, my only complaints are not really in the story telling itself, but just that at this point Rick’s acting more like a stoner than a sheriff. When all heck broke loose it was the boost that this show has needed for a bit, at least in my opinion. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going and the series will stay awesome again. Since the next ep is so close, I’ll keep this post brief, and add some pictures later!
